Being on the other side of the camera was my first encounter with photography more than 13 years ago while I working as a model in demand.
My fascination with the magic of freezing time and connecting different realities through photography quickly turned into a passion. Ever since this early immersion into the world of photography, I have been drawn to exploring the contexts of compositions and the play of light and shadow.
My photographic style appears to be continuously evolving as it reflects my ever deepening perception and captivation with the beauty of nature and the mystery of the human spirit.
It is my deep and heartfelt intent that the synergy of my academic training, my spiritual faith, and my passionate dedication to social causes may speak through my photography and play its part in shaping a more compassionate and enlightened world.
I am surrounded by the compelling beauty of nature and people. I use my camera to document the world and then print images with a focus on the magic I find in daily life. My pictures tell my stories, the story of the human soul.
Photography and other art forms are often considered to be the repository of a society’s collective memory. Photography has the ability to preserve what fact-based historical records often fail to do: how it felt and feels to exist in a particular place at a particular time.
Photography in this sense is communication; it allows people from different cultures and different times to communicate with each other via a visual language.
Photography is often a vehicle for social and environmental change. It can give voice to the politically or socially disenfranchised. Photography can rouse emotions in those who encounter it, inspiring them I hope to rally for change.
